MUNCIE, Ind. – Three Mid-American Conference games. Three 100-yard rushing games. Three wins.
Marcus Jones became the second Northern Illinois running back to topple the 100-yard mark in a MAC game, going for 130 in a 24-16 win against Ball State – joining Tre Harbison, who did it against both Central Michigan and Eastern Michigan.
“We have one of the best running back rooms in the MAC,” Jones said. “We have one of the best running back rooms in the country. I’m not afraid to say that. And I think going forward, we’re going to have more and more 100-yard games.”
