DeKALB – Community members can voice their opinions about the city’s Annie Glidden North Revitalization plan at the AGN Revitalization Plan Community meeting 6 p.m. Wednesday at the University Village Apartment Complex Community Room, 722 N. Annie Glidden Road.
The community meeting will be open to questions and comments related to the plan, according to a news release.
The plan includes strategies to improve the quality of life for residents with a focus on identifying specific projects for the Annie Glidden North neighborhood, including improving area transportation and infrastructure and adding security cameras and lighting for crime-prevention purposes.
The AGN Task Force, appointed by Mayor Jerry Smith, has issued its final approval of the plan, which will be brought to a City Council meeting for adoption by ordinance after the public comment period ends.
