Illinois Community Credit Union presented a donation in December to Gary Billings of the Salvation Army Food Pantry of DeKalb County. ICCU matched employee contributions and selected the local food pantry for its holiday donation.
The Salvation Army Food Pantry has more than 600 clients within DeKalb County, and helps individuals and families by distributing food and supplies throughout the community. In November, they donated more than 500 turkeys at Thanksgiving.
“ICCU remains steadfastly committed to the cities and towns where we live and work,” Thor Dolan, CEO of ICCU, said in a news release. “One of the many ways we demonstrate that commitment is by supporting programs that help the community during the holiday season.”
