Only a junior, DeKalb graduate and Central Methodist first baseman Logan Haring is putting his stamp on the Eagles’ record books.
This season, Haring became the school’s all-time home run and RBI leader.
He’s hitting .342 with six homers and 29 RBIs this year. The Eagles are 27-9 this year and at 14-5, lead the Heart of America Conference’s South Division, holding a three-game lead.
“It was pretty special,” Haring said. “I didn’t really realize it was attainable this year until I got close to it. I didn’t think I could get there that fast. It’s cool, and I won’t forget about it.”
