Cozy Rooms for Your New Year’s Eve Guests

New Years is the time to celebrate the past and welcome the future with family and friends. If you are hosting this years New Year’s Eve party and you have guests staying over. Here are a couple of fun ideas to make sure your guests have an extra special time.

A card with a simple message from the heart waiting in the room is a great way to welcome guests and make them feel extra special.

Extra blankets and pillows are a must to make sure your guests stay nice and cozy.

Mini bottles of Champaign or sparkling cider chilled with inexpensive fluke glasses. This can be a special treat while guests are relaxing in their rooms or a special token to take home. It is also a good idea to have a bottle of water at the bedside table/dresser in case your guest gets parched during the night or in  the early morning.  

Think of three or four questions you would like to ask your guests about the past year. Write one question at the top plain white index cards. Guests can use the space on each card to write down some thoughts. Questions can range from fun to though provoking. A couple of examples are listed below to give you and idea.  Leave the questions in each guest room. Your guests can share their responses at breakfast or brunch the next morning.  It’s a great way to reflect on the past year.
